As a caregiver, whether this is as a health care professional or in your private life, you are giving a lot of advice and support to others. Sadly, this often comes at the cost of your own self-care. This is hugely important as it is vital to be strong, healthy and in balance if you are taking so much care of others!
In this workshop, you will explore your own skills and expertise, as well as new tools from yoga and psychology that you can use for your personal self-care. You will learn how to create a healthier, more balanced relationship with yourself as a both a caregiver and a person outside of this identity. You will go (or stay!) home with new ideas and practical exercises that allow you to prevent work-related stress and maintain your own health and wellbeing.
Lana writes a blog about this subject, you can read it here for some inspiration.
