The role of lifestyle in psychiatry
Dr Richard Leth will interview Dr Jeroen Deenik about the role of lifestyle factors and lifestyle interventions in psychiatry.
His key question will be whether the revolution for the future lies in better medication, or better lifestyle.

Dr Jeroen Deenik is a postdoctorate researcher and head of the psychotic disorders research group at Maastricht University. In line with his PhD thesis, Jeroen’s research focuses on lifestyle factors, specifically sedentary behaviour and physical activity, and the implementation of lifestyle interventions in people with severe mental illness. He is involved in various local and (inter)national initiatives and consortia on this topic.
