Tango: More than a dance
For its dancers, tango is a metaphor of life. A commitment for life in three minutes at the time. From dear friends to complete strangers you step into that close embrace of one an-others personal spaces without knowing where this engagement is gonna bring you, as it is improvised on the spot.
It deals with male/female, leading and following, giving and taking, sensing and doing, holding on and letting go, all in that moment of the now, accompanied and inspired by the melodies of that beautiful weeping instrument, the Bandoneon.
Bennie will present a lecture on this topic which will then be followed with a Q&A.
