A yoga practice to lift up your mood
When we feel down, low in mental and emotional energy, we experience these emotions through physical sensations. Heavy legs that make it hard to get out of bed or a pressure on your chest makes that makes it hard to breath. The beautiful thing is that we can also lift that energy by working via our body and breath. This is what we will practice in this yoga session. We will work with specific postures and breathing exercises to uplift your mood.

As a Mental Health Psychologist (MSc) and a hatha yoga teacher, Julie integrates Modern Psychology with Yogic philosophy and techniques.
For her, psychology and yoga have the same aim: to unite all the parts we carry- inside and outside of us. Julie’s mission is to guide people to work with their body, mind, emotions and energy, instead of making them work against us.
Julie’s work specialises in chronic pain, burnout, stress and addiction and she mainly works with young adults. Julie currently works in a clinical setting for chronic pain and offers one-to-one coaching which focuses on personal development and life coaching.
